Summary: GCL failing to compile
Description:
I updated GCL from 2.5 to 2.6.7 in moonbase today. The old version was
broken and did not compile. The new one sufferes from similar problems
(maybe related to GCC4). I fixed two issues, but it still does not
compile:

I sent a mail to the gcl-devel mailinglist. Waiting for reply.

No response yet, so I sent another mail to the list (and the GCL
maintainer, I think).

Resolved in r20051, caused by a -s in LDFLAGS (passed to BUILD from the
Lunar environment). The build script now unsets LDFLAGS before compiling
gcl, which fixes it for me (and one of the sourcemage devs).
