Summary: Background lgets are started when they should not be.
Description:
If a module has optional_depends, the current theedge starts background
lgets, even when the source code should NOT be downloaded as is the case
when the module is already installed!
This new behavior is unnecessary and does not perform in the same way as
older versions of theedge. Lunar previously ONLY downloaded source
tarballs if a module has to be linned. This is the preferred method.
I noticed this problem when doing a "lin xserver". I did not have that
profile/module installed and I was updating apmd module which does a
"module_installed xserver", so I said, okay, "lin xserver" which works,
but it then proceeded to download all the xfree86 source tarballs in the
background. Not good! And yes I did already have xfree86 installed.
