Once again, if you don't know what the gcc optimizations are for, do NOT
use them.
Turn off ALL the optimizations and just use a more sane set like -O2
-mcpu=athlon-xp -march=athlon-xp.

If you've compiled your entire lunar box with all the optimizations you
have set for your qt3 debug log, then congratulations -- you have to start
all over again and recompile your entire machine.

qt-3.2.3 compiles if your optimization settings are sane.  The bug report
filed has INSANE optimizations.
