Summary:                    lunar fix remains blocked
Description: 
if i update the moonbase or i try to do a maintenance fix the process
remains stalled in creating the module.index file. this bug was confirmed
by couannette too.

please run a ps axfw to identify the problem, probably there is a grep
running without input data, I could really use this info to track down the
problem

This was a module.index creation bug.  Fixed by sofar's latest theedge as
of 20040309.  Also fixed for the Lunar-1.4.0 iso.
