Summary: kdebas3's configure script cannot find KDE headers
Description:
When I try to lin kde3 or kdebase3 directly, I get the following error:
checking for KDE... configure: error:
in the prefix, you've chosen, are no KDE headers installed. This will
fail.
So, check this please and use another prefix!

Ok, here's what I found:
kdebase3 fails to compile because kdelibs3 did not compile
kdelibs3 did not compile because docbook-sgml originally did not compile.
However I manually lin'ed docbook-sgml a while ago and it compiled fine.
kdelibs3 is now compiling. It's not finished yet, but it's further than I
got in earlier attempts to install it.

let us know what the final result is so we can close this bug if all is
well.

looks like it's working fine now...
appears to be that one of the dependencies, docbook-sgml, couldn't
download it's files (not found).
this caused kdelibs3 not to compile, but for some reason did not halt
compiling of everything else depending on kdelibs3, so it went to the next
module, kdebase3. kdebase3 failed because the kde headers from kdelibs3
did not get installed.
a couple hours later I manually lin'ed docbook-sgml and it compiled. kde3
is compiling as well...
I'm verifying on my laptop, I'll post a final bugnote once I get the
results from that
